This energizing class is designed for students who want more of an athletic yoga experience.  Classes consist of pranayama (breath work), warm-ups and vinyasa—the now popular style of yoga in which you flow from one pose to another with your breath.

Students will be introduced to new poses, before flowing in these poses, to promote confidence and safety. Students should have previous yoga experience and be familiar with basic yoga breath work and postures, as well with the needs and abilities of their bodies. Some modifications and variations will be provided so students can adjust the poses to a greater or lesser degree of challenge based on their own needs.  While physically demanding, this class encourages moment-to-moment awareness and honoring your body as you increase strength, endurance, balance and agility.

Dream Yoga Studio & Wellness Center is an independently-owned and operated Kripalu Affiliate Studio--the only one in the D.C. Metropolitan area. We're located in the heart of downtown McLean, Virginia, convenient to Tysons Corner, the 495 Beltway, and the George Washington Parkway.
