FOOD FOR TREES HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

Participate in the 5th Annual Food for Trees Holiday Food Drive and help to donate food to the local community!

For the fifth consecutive year, A.V. Remodeling and Construction & Intellectual Homes, LLC is seeking assistance from the local community to help local families in need during the holidays with their Food for Trees Holiday Food Drive, benefitting Share of McLean and the food pantry at McLean High School.

A small selection of Christmas Trees and wreaths are still available at wholesale pricing. If you did not pre-order a tree, they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food and toiletry donations.

The Teen Center will be open on Saturday for everyone to enjoy hot apple cider, hot chocolate and holiday treats, while kids will be able to decorate sugar cookies, play games and stay warm while the trees are loaded-up to go home for the holiday!  Special appearances will be made by the McLean Youth Orchestra woodwind quartet from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM, the McLean Volunteer Fire Department will be speaking about tree fire safety along with  Santa, atop the McLean Volunteer Fire Department’s Antique Fire Engine (weather permitting) from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM.

Participants are asked to park on the Laughlin Street (Giant) side of the Teen Center. Tree purchases are not required to participate, but we do encourage non-perishable food and personal toiletry donations from the community.
