Food for Trees Is Accepting PRE-ORDER'S Until 11/10/13

BUYING A CUT CHRISTMAS TREE THIS YEAR?

Participate in the 5th Annual Food for Trees Holiday Food Drive and help to donate food to the local community while saving on your holiday tree!

For the fifth consecutive year, A.V.
Remodeling and Construction & Intellectual Homes, LLC is seeking assistance from the local community to help local families in need during the holidays with their Food for Trees Holiday Food Drive, benefitting Share of McLean and
the food bank at McLean High School. This year Food for Trees has partnered
with area businesses in hopes of exceeding their $12,000 food donation goal, by
selling 400 wholesale priced, freshly-cut Fraser Fir Christmas trees in exchange for
a pledge of $35 in food donations.

Participants are asked to pre-order their
Christmas trees and holiday wreaths by Sunday,
November 10th
through www.foodfortrees.org.  Orders will be

available for pick-up on Saturday, December 7, 2013 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00
p.m. at the Old Firehouse Teen Center in McLean, Virginia. The Teen Center will
be open on Saturday for everyone to enjoy hot apple cider, hot chocolate and
holiday treats, while kids will be able to decorate sugar cookies, play games
and stay warm while the trees are loaded-up to go home for the holiday!  Special appearances will be made by the
McLean Youth Orchestra and Santa (atop the McLean Volunteer Fire Department’s
Antique Fire Engine – from Noon until 2:00 p.m.).  At that time, participants will drop off their
food donations to be loaded into the Share truck on-site.

An alternative pick-up date is Sunday,
December 8, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tree purchases are not
required to participate, but we do encourage non-perishable food donations from
the community.
