Global Education Group will start its McLean Enrichment After School Program on Feb. 10th.
When: 2014
Spring Semester: February 10 through
June 20, 2014: Mondays: 2:30pm to
6:00pm; Tuesdays through Fridays:
4:30 – 6:00pm.
What we
offer: We offer enrichment as well as
homework help/tutoring programs in:

We also offer Chess coaching and
other educational board games.
Where the program is offered: Chesterbrook
Residences, 2030 Westmoreland St, Falls Church, VA 22043, a senior citizen
center next to Long Fellow Middle School.
Why the senior citizen center: We are aiming to bring mutually
beneficial and positive social impact on both youth and senior citizens. In our
program, students will have the opportunities working with senior citizens
and bring more joys and youthfulness to them.
Who
We Are: We are a group of passionate educators
with high standards. Our program
director, is a former Fulbright Scholar, the inaugural principal of the Chinese
School at Cornell University, has over 18 years in education research. She was president of the Parent, Teacher and Student Association at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and
Technology. Our math instructor, has been a professional math instructor to
elementary, middle, and high school students for the past fifteen years. Our Advisor, and English reading and writing
instructor, a graduate of Harvard Law School, has great passion for helping
students with their reading and writing skills. Our science tutor, is a doctoral student in
computer science at Virginia Tech. Our
chess instructor, is a professional chess coach, and received a National Master certificate from
the U.S. Chess Federation.
