Community Corner

Great Falls Studios(GFS) invites the community to an evening with GFS photographers

Moderated by Ed Behrens with Robin Kent (http://www.photographybykent.com/), Silvia Gonzalez Roman (http://silviaromanfineart.com/) and Dean Souleles (http://www.dsoulphoto.com/), guests will be drawn into a discussion of what makes for an outstanding photographic image.  Each panelist will have several of their favorite images to share and explain their individual approach to photography and the keys to their artistic success.   Their work reflects a wide range of uniquely personal interests and styles as travelers, local scene shooters, nature and wildlife observers, and chroniclers of the human experience.  Sometimes a winning photograph was snapped right out their own back door!  Each has exhibited locally; their work hangs in public, corporate and personal collections, enjoyed by national and international audiences.

The evening is planned to be interesting and entertaining – informative, but not overly technical.  It is an encore presentation following the overwhelmingly positive response to a similarly formatted afternoon last spring at the Great Falls Senior Center.  There will be time for questions and answers followed by an opportunity to meet and converse, informally, one-on-one with individual presenters.  GFS artists in several media are expected to join the audience.

The program is guaranteed to appeal to those who enjoy and appreciate photography - hobbyists, critics, connoisseurs and other professionals.
