Lecture: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy For Lyme Disease & Other Chronic Illnesses

The Kaplan Center for Integrative Medicine's Total Recovery Lecture Series continues on Thursday, February 6th with Dr. Samuel Shor, a nationally recognized expert on Lyme disease.

Dr. Shor is an Associate Clinical Professor at the George Washington University School of Health Care Sciences, and a member of the Virginia Governor’s Lyme Task Force. He will be discussing off-label, evidence based indications for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as a safe and effective treatment for Lyme disease and other illnesses. The lecture will cover how, by creating an atmosphere of increased oxygen concentration, HBOT can accelerate the body’s natural healing process, and boost a person’s immune capabilities, with relatively few side effects.

Dr. Shor’s interest in Lyme stems from his longstanding interest in both Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia. In 2011, Dr. Shor founded Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy of Northern Virginia to bring relief to patients for whom traditional methods of treatment have been unsuccessful.

This lecture is free and open to the public, however seating is limited. Please rsvp by calling (703) 532-4892.

Bring your questions! Dr. Shor will leave ample time to answer your questions. Bring a spouse, a loved one, or a friend / colleague.
