Montessori School of McLean School Tour 2014 - 2015 School Year

"Cultivating each child's unique ability to flourish in mind, body, and spirit"

We want to share two exciting new changes in the programs offered at MSM!  Beginning in September 2014, we will have a Toddler Program for children aged about 24-36 months, and have an Extended Day Program for Toddler and Primary children!  Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) licensure is required for these two programs.  We are in the process of acquiring licensure, and the timing of the process is to be complete at the end of August.  VDSS completes all initial licensures at the end of August, no matter how soon the process is started.  We do not anticipate any delays in the licensure process, but if there are, we will be required to delay the start of the programs.

The tour consists of a walk through the school, a brief DVD, and an opportunity for questions. If you have time, plan to stay for Step 2 of the admissions process which is spending five - ten minutes in each of the six Primary School classrooms to gain a further understanding of the Montessori philosophy.
