Trotting the Globe with Bartholomew Broadbent

We had so much fun with importer Bartholomew Broadbent's Port and Madiera class this Spring that we couldn't wait to have him back to share the rest of his portfolio with us.  Bartholomew literally grew up in the wine trade (his father, Michael Broadbent, founded Christies auction business) and is now importing some truly fascinating (and delicious) wines from around the world.

Join us as Bartholomew shows off some of his favorites, everything from South African Chenin Blanc to Russian River Chardonnay as well as a red from Lebanon’s iconic Chateau Musar and two dry Portuguese reds.  He'll pour:

2012 Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc (South Africa)
2011 Dr Hermann Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling (Germany)
2011 Inman Russian River Chardonnay  (California)
2011 Spy Valley Pinot Noir (New Zealand)
2007 Chateau Musar Hochar (Lebanon)
2006 Bodegas Weinert Malbec (Argentina)
2011 Casa Ferreirinha Esteva  (Portugal)
2011 Quinta do Crasto Douro Red (Portugal)

With each wine, Bartholomew will share some background on the winery, the region, and help us understand how he choose to represent them in the USA.  A fun and delicious way to tour the world.

Course fee: $30. Reserve your seats by calling 703.356.6500 or emailing wine team@chainbridgecellars.com.
