Adopt a Pet

Iliff Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is proud to present a lineup of adorable, adoptable canines at the center on
Saturday, October 22 from noon until 4 PM. The event is open to the entire public.

The Friends of Homeless Animals, a Merrifield-based
non-profit, no-kill shelter for abandoned or abused animals, will be on-hand in the center courtyard with up to a dozen healthy, spayed or neutered dogs. Each of these prime pooches would make a wonderful companion for the right person or family. Visitors can meet each of the dogs, talk to shelter staff and begin the adoption process.

Also present will be Fairfax Pets-On-Wheels, a local volunteer organization that works with Iliff Nursing and Rehab to bring trained therapeutic animals to the center on a regular basis to help residents.
