Comstock, Great Falls Citizens Association . . . Cowards?

What was Eric Knudsen, president of the Great Falls Citizens Association thinking when he cancelled the GFCA's Candidate Forum between Democratic challenger Kathleen Murphy and Republican incumbent Barbara Comstock?  Did he really think some pro-gun violence prevention protesters were going to be unruly and violate the terms of the protest permit?  Come on, it isn't like they are gun-toting anti-choice protesters blocking sidewalks in front of womens clinics.

The GFCA's message seems to be that it is okay to carry concealed weapons in Great Falls, but not okay to carry protest signs.

Barbara Comstock's cowardly campaign conduct seems congenital.  She failed to show up at the League of Women Voters "meet and greet" last Wednesday at the Tysons-Pimmit Library.  She failed to show up at the Social Action Linking Together (S.A.L.T.) candidate's forum on September 28.  She failed to participate in a local newspaper's questionnaire.  What else has she ducked?

Why, Barbara?  Why?

Why didn't you insist to the GFCA that they proceed with the Candidate's Forum last night?  Why didn't you demonstrate leadership?  You could have made it happen.

Wait, is it because you are incapable of answering for votes that do not conform to the sensible values of a majority of your constituents?

That's  right, folks.  For every pro-NRA voter in Virginia's 34th House District, there are fourteen (14) pro-gun violence prevention voters.  And Barbara Comstock owns an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association.

Barbara "Photo-Op" Comstock says one thing in Northern Virginia but votes with her Tea Party cronies in Richmond.  Her values are not your values.
