Keep our class sizes small!

Keep Our Class Sizes Small!

Delegate Barbara Comstock (R-34) will be hosting a townhall meeting on Saturday, January 19th at 9:30 a.m. at the McLean Community Center. The primary focus of the townhall will be a discussion of class size issues. Delegate Comstock's bill, HB 1556, aims to reduce average class sizes by requiring school size to be based by school and not by county. Currently, class size is calculated at a county level.

Among additional topics to be discussed are Delegate Comstock's bills, HB 1309 and 1700, which relate to Fairfax and Loudoun County's school start date and in-state enrollment in Virginia's public higher education institutions.

Additional details about the upcoming education townhall are below. We look forward to seeing you there.
