McLean U17 & U18 Teams Take Home Gold & Silver at 2013 Disney Soccer Showcase

ORLANDO, FL (January 3, 2014) – McLean Youth Soccer’s U17 and U18 girls’ teams won gold and silver medals, respectively, at the prestigious 2013 Disney Soccer Showcase.

McLean Force ECNL ’96 won the U17 Premier Gray Bracket, defeating both the IN and RI state champions along the way and scoring a total of seven goals with only one goal against in four games. The Disney victory propelled McLean Force to a national rank of #24 and a Region I rank of #14 in the Got Soccer points system (the team is already ranked #12 nationally by Top Drawer Soccer). Coached by Nadir Moumen, McLean Force competed at Disney immediately following three hard-fought games at the ECNL’s annual Sanford National Event, where the team went 2-0-1.
