AMC Offers $25,000 Reward for Information in 'Soda Bottle Bomb' Incidents

AMC wants info leading to the capture of the individual or individuals responsible for setting off bottle bombs in its theaters.

AMC Theaters is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the individual responsible for setting off soda bottle bombs, according to a report by the Associated Press.

There have been four such incidents in AMC movie theaters since April 5 in the DC area. The most recent took place over the weekend, at Tyson's Corner and in Largo, Md. The theaters were evacuated; the Tyson's theater for the second time in one week during a midnight movie.

Here's a timeline of the soda bottle bomb incidents in the DC area:

#1: Saturday, April 5, 1:15 a.m.: AMC Hoffman Center 22, 206 Swamp Fox Road, in Alexandria, Va.
#2. Sunday, May 18, before 1 a.m.: AMC Tyson's Corner 16, McLean, Va. About 2,000 people were evacuated from all 16 theaters.
#3. Sunday, May 25, 1:40 a.m.: AMC Magic Johnson Capital Center 12 in Largo, Md.
#4. Sunday, May 25, 2:15 a.m.: AMC Tyson's Corner 16, McLean, Va.
