Blonde-Wigged Suspect, Toting Coach Bag, Robs Bank in Tysons Area

Suspect also allegedly robbed bank last Monday in Chantilly.

A woman who allegedly robbed a bank last week in the Chantilly area has apparently struck again — now robbing a bank in the Tysons area, police said.

The female suspect, wearing a blonde wig in both robberies, was toting a Coach bag in her second robbery, according to photos provided by Fairfax County Police.

The suspect robbed the United Bank Saturday at 11:26 a.m. at 2071 Chain Bridge Road in Vienna near Tysons Corner. The bank is about 15 miles away from the Bank of America on Metrotech Drive in Chantilly that was robbed Monday.

Saturday, the woman suspect walked into the bank and handed a note to a teller. The female suspect in these bank robberies has been described as black, and 30 to 35 years old. She is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 150 to 170 pounds.

On Saturday, she was wearing the same color top (red) that she wore Monday. Surveillance cameras captured photos of the suspect and detectives are hopeful someone will recognize her.
