Bus Crashes on Capital Beltway; Minor Injuries Reported

The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed "a private company bus" has crashed on the northbound side of Interstate 495. 

The bus collided with a pickup truck on the exit ramp leading to Georgetown Pike, said Tawny Wright, a department spokeswoman.

The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department is handling the scene. Some minor injuries have been reported, but they do not appear to be life threatening, Wright said.
