Car Vandalism in Kent Gardens Reported

Police Give Tips

In light of recent incidents of vehicle tampering, theft, and destruction of property in the areas near the Kent Gardens area, it has become very important for people to take proper precautions when parking their vehicle, Fairfax County Police in the McLean District told a recent meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee.

Three separate incidents occurred around Franklin Avenue and Birch Road on May 19, police said. One of these incidents was described  as a white SUV carrying several teenagers who were smashing windows.

There are two types of ways to describe the damage that may occur to vehicles.

  • Don’t leave valuables in the car.
