Copper Pipe Theft at Home Depot, Parking Lot Scam and More

SHOPLIFTING, 2800 block of Merrilee Drive, 8/8/13, 10:15 a.m. An employee reported two individuals allegedly left the store without paying for copper pipes. Officers located a vehicle and arrested the two. Damian Lofton, 24, of Lorton, was charged with grand larceny and possession with intent to sell. Charles Jackson, 25, of Alexandria, was charged with grand larceny.

BURGLARY, 6500 block of Arlington Boulevard, 8/9/13, 6:10 a.m. An employee reported someone entered the business and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a window.

Beware of Being Scammed in Parking Lots

BURGLARY, 2800 block of Meadow Lane, 8/10/13, 6:10 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include a television. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
