BURGLARY, 6500 block of Arlington Boulevard, 1/7/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

McLean Police District Reports: Jan. 10

ROBBERY, 7500 block of Ambergate Place, 1/9/14, 6:06 p.m. The victim had exited his parked car when the suspect approached him. The suspect displayed a knife and took property from the victim, including the victim’s car keys. The suspect then fled in the victim’s car. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a male, 20s, about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. The victim’s car is described as a grey, 4-door Mazda, MX3.

McLean Police District Reports: Jan. 13

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 7300 block of Dartford Drive, 1/10/14. An employee reported someone entered an unoccupied apartment and damaged property.

1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, cell phone from business

2000 block of International Drive, sunglasses from business

7400 block of Lee Highway, beverages from business

8300 block of Leesburg Pike, beverages from business

1200 block of Somerset Drive, electronic device from vehicle

McLean Police District Reports: Jan. 14

ROBBERY, 7500 block of Leesburg Pike, 1/13/14, 1:30 a.m. A suspect displayed a gun to an employee just outside a gas station. The suspect ordered the employee to flee and then attempted to take cash from the register. The suspect was unable to open the register and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as a male, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds.
