High Rise Fire Forces Evacuation in Tysons Corner Area

More than 100 construction workers evacuated after electrical fire, according to report.

More than 100 construction workers were evacuated from a work site after an electrical fire started in a 13-story building in the Tysons Corner area, according to a Washington Post report.

About 80 firefighters fought the blaze Thursday night in the 7900 block of Westpark Drive, Deputy Fire Chief Michael Reilly tells the Post. No injuries were reported.

The area is just of Interstate 495.
