APO’s assigned to the McLean substation covered all 5 and 10K races; the McLean Project for the Arts ArtFest, McLean Day, the Teen Center Fire House “Open House” and they assist regular officers in other areas.

Additionally, over the past three years, the APO’s have covered our only community-wide parade, McLean WinterFest, by controlling traffic, enforcing road closures, keeping pedestrians and families safe, and assisting parade officials where needed.
