Fairfax County Police logged the following incidents in the McLean area during the week ending Aug. 15.

Destruction: 1200 block of Suffield Drive, Aug. 7, 10:30 a.m. A resident reported minor damage to furniture in his house while he was away on vacation. The resident confirmed nothing was stolen.

Larceny: 1400 block of Balls Hill Road, cell phone stolen from business

Larceny: 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, tools stolen from business

Larceny: Tysons Corner, purse from business

Larceny: Tysons Corner, cell phone from business

Animal Control Division — Countywide

Animal Welfare: 6700 block of Haycock Road, Falls Church, Aug. 12, 1:56 p.m. Animal Control Officers responded to check on the welfare of numerous dogs and the house. The resident was issued 11 summonses for having unlicensed dogs at the address.
