McLean Crime Blotter: Peeping Tom and a Pursuit

Two significant incidents reported in the McLean Police District recently, according to Fairfax County Police.

The following incident information was obtained from the Activity Report provided by Fairfax County Police Department’s Public Information Office. The incidents included are at the discretion of the PIO and are not to be considered all-inclusive.

The report contains information for the week that ended Wednesday, Feb. 27. In that time across all of Fairfax County, police reported:

  • 33 charges related to domestic violence
  • 63 charges related to drugs
  • 83 charges related to DWIs.

DWI/PURSUIT, Duncan Drive/The Midway, 2 a.m. Feb. 22. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle allegedly speeding on I-495. The driver, 20, from Herndon, eventually stopped and was charged with speed to elude, reckless driving and DWI.

PEEPING, 1400 block of Spring Vale Avenue, 7:10 p.m. Feb. 27. A 41-year-old woman reported she saw a man on the back deck looking into the home. He fled prior to police arrival.

The McLean Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department includes Merrifield, Dunn Loring, greater Falls Church, McLean, Tysons Corner and Great Falls.
