McLean Crime Blotter: Unlawful Entries into Businesses, Vehicle Thefts

The latest crime information from the McLean District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

The following incident information was obtained from the Activity Report provided by Fairfax County Police Department’s Public Information Office. The incidents included are at the discretion of the PIO and are not to be considered all-inclusive.

The report contains information released Friday, March 8 through Monday, March 11.

Addresses listed indicate block numbers, not necessarily a specific address. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate a conviction.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 6700 block of Old Dominion Drive, 9:20 p.m. March 8 — The owners reported seeing a shadow in their business. A 59-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with unlawful entry. Nothing was stolen or damaged.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2900 block of Monticello Drive, 3/7/13, 9:10 a.m. A maintenance man reported someone was found in a vacant unit and nothing was stolen. Forced entry was made through a rear window. The suspect was known and a warrant for unlawful entry has been issued.
