McLean Crime Report: Stolen Pillowcase and Other Incidents

The latest crime information from the McLean District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

The following incident information was obtained from the Activity Report provided by Fairfax County Police Department’s Public Information Office. The incidents included are at the discretion of the PIO and are not to be considered all-inclusive.

Addresses listed indicate block numbers, not necessarily a specific address. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate a conviction.

BURGLARY, 1200 block of Crest Lane, 1:15 p.m. March 21 - Officers responded for an alarm call, found the emergency contact person, and front door that was forced open. A K-9 team searched the home and did not find anyone inside. The only item stolen was a pillow case.

GRAFFITI, Stonewall Drive/Villanova Drive, 9:30 a.m. March 19 - A resident reported several areas at the park were defaced with spray paint. The owners were notified to remove the graffiti.

BURGLARY, 2800 block of Meadow View Road, 10:21 a.m. March 18 - An employee reported someone entered the school and stole a television. There were no signs of forced entry.

GRAFFITI, 6500 block of Georgetown Pike, 1:10 p.m. March 18 - An employee reported words were written in a bathroom stall. The graffiti was removed.
