The following are some of the more significant crime and other incidents in McLean and the surrounding areas from the past week.

TAXI CAB INCIDENT - An Islamic group is asking Fairfax County to charge a woman for attacking an Alexandria cab driver in an anti-Muslim tirade. The incident started after a woman and a companion entered a cab at a McLean restaurant. Read more about the incident here.

'BUTT-SLASHER' PLEADS GUILTY - A former Fairfax County man who was suspected of slashing women in the buttocks in several area locations in 2011, pleaded guilty Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court. Some of the incidents took place at Tysons Corner Center. Read more about it here.

ACCIDENT - A bicyclist received serious injuries Monday after a collision with a small SUV in McLean. Police are still investigating. Read more about the accident here.

BURGLARY - A resident reported a burglary on the 2200 block of Pimmit Drive on Tuesday, June 18. Upon arriving at a business around 6:35 a.m., an employee reported someone entered the business and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a window, according to police.
