McLean District Crime: ATM Robbery, Burglaries and Other Incidents

A 27-year-old woman was robbed by a masked, armed man inside the entryway of a local bank Tuesday evening, according to Fairfax County Police officials. See: Woman Robbed at Gunpoint at Bank ATM in McLean for more information.

The following incidents were included in daily police reports from May 6 - 10 from the Fairfax County Police Department’s McLean District. (See a map of the district here.)

Burglaries

May 5 - 3:10 a.m., 3000 block of Monticello Drive. A resident reported someone entered the home. Forced entry was made through a window. Officers located a person in the home and that person was charged with burglary.

May 7 - 9:13 a.m., 8600 block of Lee Hwy. Forced entry through side door. Unknown if anything was taken.

May 7 - 9:28 a.m., 9100 block of Lee Hwy., Entry gained by breaking out rear window. Undisclosed amount of money stolen from cash register.

8000 block of Tysons Corner Center, hair cutting shears from business 

8400 block of Berea Drive, tools from vehicle 

1200 block of Merchant Lane, refrigerator from business 

7200 block of Roosevelt Avenue, cash from residence 

2900 block of District Avenue, electronic device from business

6600 block of Fisher Avenue, cell phone and laptop from vehicle

2200 block of International Drive, charm from business

2800 block of Hogan Court, camera, lenses and filters from residence

7300 block of Lee Highway, tires from business
