McLean District Crime: Reckless Driver with Marijuana

Recent crime incidents and information from the McLean District of the Fairfax County Police Department.

The following incidents were included in daily police reports from April 24 - April 29 from the Fairfax County Police Department’s McLean District. (See a map of the district here.)

PURSUIT/NARCOTICS, 7100 block of Roosevelt Avenue, 3:15 a.m. April 22 - An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Graham Road. The vehicle fled and eventually stopped for the officer. Following an investigation, the passenger was released. The driver, a 19-year-old from Fairfax, was charged with reckless driving, speed to elude, possession of marijuana, and DWI.

BURGLARY, 6200 block of Old Dominion Drive, 4:40 a.m. April 28 - Officers responded for an alarm and found on open rear door. An employee confirmed many items were stolen to include televisions.
