McLean District Crime: Robbery, Burglaries and Other Incidents

Recent local crime incidents from the Fairfax County Police Department's McLean District.

A 43-year-old male passenger was robbed in a vehicle by a female acquaintance and another man Monday in the 9400 block of Lee Hwy.

According to a Fairfax County Police report, around 5:55 a.m. the alleged victim was in the front passenger seat when a man in the back seat grabbed him from behind, pulled a knife and demanded money while the woman drove car. Police said the man gave the alleged suspect his wallet and was allowed to exit the car uninjured.

There was no description of the alleged suspects.

Burglaries

May 19 – 10 p.m., 6900 block of Turner Ave. A resident reported someone entered her home and stole a bicycle. Entry was made through an unsecured door.

May 20 – 3:15 p.m., 800 block of Lawton St. A neighbor reported an open door. Officers confirmed that someone forced entry into the home. It is unknown if anything was stolen.
