ROBBERY, 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road, 7/6/12, 10 a.m. An employee reported three suspects entered the store, implied they had weapons, and ordered the employee to the back of the store. They stole three pairs of shoes and fled.
BURGLARY, 7300 block of Dartford Drive, 7/8/12, 6:40 p.m. The resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items, including cash and weapons. Forced entry was made through a sliding door.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY/DESTRUCTION, 1300 block of Potomac School Road, 7/11/12, 6:50 a.m. An employee reported someone entered the building and vandalized several areas. Forced entry was made through a door.
Police are investigating the robbery of the Capital One Bank at 6890 Elm Street in McLean. The robbery took place around 9:30 a.m. July 9. Fairfax police reported that an armed man entered and demanded money from an employee. The clerk complied and the man fled. The suspect was last seen heading across the street from the bank near Dolly Madison Boulevard, police said.
