Police: Man Charged with Indecent Exposure in Tysons Corner

A woman in a Tysons Corner parking lot this week told police a man exposed himself to her.

The woman was in the lot in the 8300 block of Leesburg Pike at about 5 p.m. Wednesday when a man drove up in a car and exposed himself to her, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The woman called 911. Officers responded and charged Carl Eric Smithson, 49, of Petersburg, with indecent exposure.

Police spokesman Bud Walker did not know exactly how the man allegedly exposed himself.

No one was injured in the incident, Walker said.
