Virginia State Police Report Hundreds of Accidents on Snowy Roads

More than 60 crashes reported in Fairfax division.

Virginia State Police have responded to more than 300 traffic accidents and more than 200 disabled vehicles across the Commonwealth since midnight Monday.

Tallied through 10 a.m. Monday, state police responded to 359 traffic crashes and 228 disabled vehicles statewide.

The following is a breakdown by state police division as provided by Virginia State Police:

Richmond Division:  94 traffic crashes and 33 disabled vehicles

Culpeper Division: 105 traffic crashes and 47 disabled vehicles (this includes the Stafford County bus crash on Interstate 95 from this morning)

Appomattox Division: 38 traffic crashes and 19 disabled vehicles

Wytheville Division: 17 traffic crashes and 15 disabled vehicles

Chesapeake Division: 15 traffic crashes and 18 disabled vehicles

Salem Division: 26 traffic crashes and 16 disabled vehicles

Fairfax Division: 64 traffic crashes and 80 disabled vehicles
