8 am. Baseball returns to McLean.

Annual McLean Little League Parade down Westmoreland Street from Chain Bridge to the Little League field on Lemon Road.

Fairfax police will start closing Westmoreland near McLean High School at 7:15am, according to the Little League Website.

9 am.-1 pm. McLean Community Center Garage Sale.

NEW! This year’s sale will offer several “value-added” services for shoppers who want to take advantage of them, including secure paper shredding and safe medicine disposal by The Safe Community Coalition. Also, there will be a truck for donations on the site.

9:30 am.  Chariots, a spinning tea cup and 14 prancing steeds await only the imagination of children. The carousel is recessed to ground level so that it is accessible for wheelchairs, allowing children to transfer to the tea cup. The chariot is designed to allow for transfer to a seated position or to remain seated in the wheelchair.

Clemy Park is truly one of the jewels of McLean.

5-8p.m. Kent Gardens Elementary School International Night.

Every year the Kent Gardens Elementary School PTA hosts an International Night. The purpose of International Night is to bring together Kent Gardens’ families and learn about and share with each other the many cultures represented in our school. There is international entertainment, a parade of nations with traditional costumes, arts & crafts, country displays and food. The event is free of charge and open to everyone.
