Congressman Frank Wolf at Center of Benghazi Imbroglio

Representative tells CNN that 'people closely tied to CIA' want to talk about what happened in Benghazi. CNN reports that 'dozens' of CIA' were 'on the ground' during the attack.

For months, Congressman Frank Wolf (R-10th) has banged the drum in Congress for a more thorough investigation of the Benghazi terror attack.

Wolf, a Republican who first took office in 1981 when Ronald Reagan was elected president, asks a question of the day about Benghazi on his congressional office Web site.

On Thursday, CNN reported that the CIA had "dozens of CIA operatives on the ground during the Benghazi attack."

Employees of the CIA, which is in Wolf's 10th congressional District in Langley, tell CNN that they are being given polygraphs to be sure they aren't talking to anyone in Congress or the media.

On Thursday, CNN reported: "In the aftermath of the attack, Wolf said he was contacted by people closely tied with CIA operatives and contractors who wanted to talk.

Then suddenly, there was silence.

"Initially they were not afraid to come forward. They wanted the opportunity, and they wanted to be subpoenaed, because if you're subpoenaed, it sort of protects you, you're forced to come before Congress. Now that's all changed," said Wolf.
