McLean Citizens Association

You are cordially invited to attend the McLean Citizens Association Winter Meeting on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 7:30 pm
at the McLean Community Center. Our guest speaker from Fairfax County will be Deputy Director of the Department of Management and Budget  Joe Mondoro.

Mr. Mondoro will talk about county budget matters and will answer questions from the audience (to the extent appropriate).  It is important to remember that the staff doesn’t set policy; the Board of Supervisors do.  The DMB is a top-notch organization whose continuous effort to make the Fairfax County budget accessible and understandable to citizens and policymakers alike is both well respected and widely recognized.

This is a great chance to learn where the county’s fiscal house is and where it may be in the future.  Please plan to attend and bring a neighbor, a friend or both.
