Public Hearing on Signage Renovation Project

The Governing Board of the McLean Community Center (MCC), in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority, will hold a public hearing on its Signage Renovation Project. The Center is seeking input from residents of Dranesville Small District One on its plans to renovate the existing directional signs.

The Board is interested in district residents’ feedback on plans to renovate its deteriorated signage, particularly the sign at the intersection of Dolley Madison Blvd. and Old Dominion Dr., which is located in McLean Central Park. Renovation plans include the possible use of an LED screen on this sign.

Residents who would like to speak at the hearing should call the Center at 703-790-0123, TTY: 711, to have their names placed on the speakers' list. However, residents may make comments at the hearing without prior notice. They also may submit comments in writing to MCC by close of business, Monday, Nov. 14. Written comments may be sent through the “Feedback” link on the homepage of the Center’s Website (www.mcleancenter.org), or may be sent through the mail (postmarked by 11/14) to Executive Director, McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean VA 22101.
