Full Closing of Eastbound Dulles Access Road Tonight,Thursday Night

The eastbound Dulles Access Road near Route 7 will be closed and traffic will be detoured on Wednesday and Thursday nights, July 27 and 28, because of Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project construction.
 
This closure will be gradual, beginning at approximately 7 p.m. each night, to be implemented as follows:
 
7 p.m. - The left lane of the westbound Access Road will close near Route 7.
7:30 p.m. - The right lane of the eastbound Access Road also will close near Route 7.
8 p.m. - All eastbound Access Road traffic will be diverted on to a single westbound lane. At this time, westbound Access Road lanes will accommodate two-way traffic.

Closures will be picked up in reverse order, to be completed at 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Police will be onsite. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution, and pay close attention to signage. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
