Last Chance: Voting in June 12 Democratic, Republican Primaries

Deadlines for Absentee Voting

Surprise: On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, there will be both Democratic and Republican Primary Elections in Fairfax County.

In McLean:

  • Republicans get to select one of the two candidates running for the U.S. Senate.
  •  Democrats get to vote in the 8th Congressional District primary.

The state legislature drastically changed the congressional districts in McLean and around the state. All of McLean was formerly in the 10th District. Now  half of McLean, generally south of Dolley Madison Blvd is now located in the 8th. The other half remains in the 10th.
