McLean Central Park's Future: Community Meeting Scheduled

The Fairfax County Park Authority has acquired additional land since the last McLean Central Park master plan revision and is seeking public input on land use.

The draft master plan for McLean Central Park is undergoing revisions, and Fairfax County Park Authority officials are interested in hearing your thoughts.

The park's master plan was last revised in 2000. Since then, the Park Authority has acquired about 2.5 acres of land along Ingleside Avenue that may be incorporated into future plans for the park. 

More information on the park master plan for McLean Central Park is available here. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, June 10 at the McLean Community Center.

The meeting will include a brief presentation about current conditions at the park and thoughts on future uses of the space, followed by comments and discussion.

McLean Central Park is at 1468 Dolley Madison Blvd. in McLean. It features open lawns, Dead Run Stream, tennis courts, a basketball court, disc golf, two playgrounds and trails.
