McLean's Secret Neighbor Losing Its Top Leaders

CIA Brain Drain

The Washington Post had a fascinating story yesterday about the "brain drain" at one of our secret neighbors.

The Post reports that some 91 top level managers (some of whom could be our neighbors but we'll never know) have left the CIA in the past 10 years to work for private companies or to return to the Agency as private (more lucrative) contractors.

"In addition to three directors, the CIA has lost four of its deputy directors for operations, three directors of its counterterrorism center and all five of the division chiefs who were in place the day of the Sept. 11 attacks," The Post wrote.
