MLK Dedication Sunday Postponed Because of Hurricane Irene

The Washington Post has reported that the foundation building Washngton’s new memorial to Martin Luther King Jr. has postponed Sunday's historic dedication in anticipation of Hurricane Irene.

The dedication will take place in September or October, officials announced.

The interfaith prayer service scheduled for Saturday at the National Shrine of the Basilica will be the last official event of.
