Former U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., on Friday spoke to the Northern Virginia Democratic Business Council at the Tower Club in Tysons Corner about the federal debt and the economy.

Representing Fix the Debt, a bi-partisan coalition seeking a balanced approach to debt reduction, Lincoln told the crowd of Democrats that it's time for long-term solutions in Washington and that moving from crisis to crisis is no way to manage the economy.
