Tonight: Lane Closing on Dulles Connector Road, Noise for the Neighbors

Neighbor Alert:

Left Lane of Eastbound Dulles Connector Road will close tonight  through Sunday morning for a 700-foot stretch east of the Pimmit Run Bridge so the folks building Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project can instal utilities.

This work will cause some noise that the adjacent neighborhoods will notice.

The work is being done during the night shift because of the need to close a lane on the busy Dulles Connector Road.  Every effort will be made to minimize the impact of noise in work areas between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
 
Police will be onsite during nighttime hours. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution, and pay attention to the signs. All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
