Rivercrest Mansion Back on the Market

Following a canceled auction in March, 612 Rivercrest Drive is re-listed for $12.5 million.

It looks like 612 Rivercrest Drive is for sale—again.

The home has seven bedroom, nine full baths (and two half baths) and sits on 1.2 acres. Previously available real estate listings described it as a "beautiful stone mansion overlooking the Potomac River" and an "amazing property [with] over 16,000 square feet of elegantly finished space."

It also features a glass elevator, garages on two levels of the home, an indoor pool and several marble fireplaces.

This time, Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. has the listing. (See the listing for 612 Rivercrest Drive here.)

The price is $12,500,000, however, the listing notes that the “LLC Member has right of first refusal pending financing for private acquisition.”

The mansion was set for auction in March — that auction was canceled. That was not the first canceled auction on the property. (You can read more about the property's interesting sales history at DC Curbed.)

According to Fairfax County property records, the current owner is Cedar Medical LLC, which received the property as a transfer for $0 in 2010. Prior to that, Elariny Hazem was listed as the owner—he had received the property from Cedar Medical LLC as a $0 property transfer in 2005. Hazem is a surgeon by trade, though his LinkedIn profile lists him as self-employed.

The property valued for tax purposes by Fairfax County at $4,355,070 in 2012.
