Fish & Explore Trip

It Sounds Like a Party and It Is…

A Fishing Party!Fish and Explore is pleased to offer a Chesapeake Bay fishing trip with one of our Coast Guard Certified Charter Captains. This will be a full day of fantastic fall fishing for rockfish and bluefish on a large custom-built bay boat.

Fish and Explore is focused on teaching kids and families to fish and appreciate nature and the outdoors. This is a great opportunity for kids to explore the Chesapeake Bay, learn about why it is significant to our area and how it impacts our lives, all while having fun chasing and catching big game fish!

We will depart from the McLean Community Center promptly at 1 p.m., so participants are asked to arrive no later than 12:45 p.m. After a drive to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, we will board our charter and head out for nice long fishing trip. The bus will return to MCC around 8:30 p.m. with fresh fish and tired anglers.

What to bring: Snacks or dinner since we will be fishing into the early evening, a hat, light jacket, sunblock, sunglasses, a camera and a positive, “can-do” attitude.
