Fairfax County Public Schools to Host College Fair, College Night in October

Fairfax County Public Schools students can learn more about what different colleges have to offer at a College Fair and College Night slated for October.
About 400 colleges and universities will be on hand to answer questions at the College Fair. Students can register online for the events beforehand so that college admissions representatives will be able to electronically scan in their information.
The college fair will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Fair Oaks Mall at 11750 Fair Oaks in Fairfax.

College Night will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Hayfield Secondary School on 7630 Telegraph Road. Students and parents at that event can attend workshops on subjects that include career planning, financial aid and writing a college application essay. They will also get a chance to meet with representatives from participating colleges.
