McLean High School's Highlander Finalist for National Newspaper Award
Winner announced April 12.
McLean High School's Highlander, the student run news magazine, is among 28 finalists for the National Scholastic Press Association Online Pacemaker contest.
The Highlander was selected from 148 entries for the prestigious award. Winners will be announced at the spring JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention in San Diego on Saturday, April 12.
Lindsay Benedict serves as the adviser to The Highlander Online.
