Schools Dip Into Makeup Days for Weather Cancellations
Fairfax County Public Schools has already confirmed one makeup day for next month.
With Tuesday being the fourth school day canceled for weather this year, Fairfax County Public Schools will now start dipping into makeup days.
Monday, Feb. 17, previously a scheduled holiday for President's Day, will now be a school day, school officials confirmed Tuesday.
The next day off to be canceled if the district has another weather cancellation day will be Monday, April 7, currently scheduled to be a student holiday/teacher work day.

If the district reaches seven inclement weather days, it will begin pushing back the last day of school, currently scheduled to be Friday, June 20.
