Community Update

Please take my advice and avoid this horrible man. He is, as others have said, a con artist, a crook, and a personally despicable man. Do NOT sign his contract! My daughter was injured there and I have seen other kids injured. There is improper supervision. He is verbally abusive to parents and routinely uses shame techniques on his students. Save yourself money for psychotherapy for your kid and do not sign up with S H Kim.

I feel guilty as a mother that I bought his boat load of hooey as long as I did! We were taken in by his promises of what TKD would do for our daughter. She ultimately was frightened by him and many, many parents are intimidated by him. I've seen him be cruel to kids whose parents just drop them off. If you are going to use him, DO NOT DROP OFF AND LEAVE!!!!!

When I finally stood up to him, the parents witnessing the incident were all behind me, with a "you go girl" attitude. He will try to snag you in to a three year contract if possible, by promising you the moon. Except for moving, there is no getting out of it. Not if your kid is injured, not if he decides he hates it, not if he is afraid, not if you have been verbally abused by Kim. Nothing! He has no human decency whatsoever. This crook will continue to take your money.

Please parents! I implore you to heed my warning and stay as far away from this place as you can and tell everyone you know. DO NOT confuse him with the other TKD place just down the road, Mountain Kim, who I've heard good things about from other Moms. Unfortunately, my kid (and frankly my husband and I are) so utterly traumatized by the experience and what we witnessed, we will never have anything to do with TKD again! (Sorry TKD devotees.).
