Weekend Weather: When You Should Get Outside

There's a chance for storms in the forecast, but we'll get a shot at summer fun, first.

After a week of evening storms, we're happy to report that most of your weekend will stay dry.

The forecast in Northern Virginia calls for mostly sunny skies until clouds roll in for afternoon storms Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday night will be partly cloud with a low near 67 degrees.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 86.

On Sunday, there's a chance of thunderstorms after 3 p.m., with the temperature climbing to 91 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent. The chance of showers continues into Sunday night.
