Lola is the Wednesday Day Chair which means she gets to wear a boa!

Lola spent her birthday volunteering & celebrating at the Treasure Trove with her friends and colleagues! Her birthday was September 21st.

In addition to getting to wear festive and fabulous attire Lola also coordinates all the Wednesday volunteers to take in inventory, sort, price, and tag donated & consigned items on the showroom floor. Lola also helps consignors with any questions they may have.

Why Lola Volunteers at Treasure Trove:

“I love STUFF!”

Lola loves that they raise millions of dollars to support INOVA.

Inova Fairfax Hospital volunteers staff Treasure Troves, located in McLean, Annandale and Springfield, VA. Proceeds from the stores directly benefit Inova Fairfax Hospital programs and services.

The INOVA Auxiliary Board decides where that money will be spent.  Successful projects Treasure Trove has funded include 156-bed state-of-the-art cardiac facility that opened in 2004, the Inova Fairfax Hospital Women's and Children's Center.  Funds raised here are also used to encourage the pursuit of healthcare careers by offering annual scholarships to eligible applicants.

Lola has been a Treasure Trove volunteer for  2 ½ years and has loved every minute of it.

What Lola gets back from volunteering?

Lola gets great satisfaction from knowing the impact and opportunity her work at the Treasure Trove provides for others.

The Wednesday Crew has become more than just a group of volunteers who work together, they are friends.   They have a blast working together at the store and enjoy many get togethers outside of work.

Lola says “We have so much fun!”   We are a great group and the camaraderie here is a jolly bonus.

Lola Keye’s Hobbies:

Traveling with her husband

Going to UMC games with her husband (a rabid UMC fan)

Enjoying life to the fullest

Entertaining & going to parties – Lola LOVES parties!

An invitation from Lola:

The Treasure Trove is in desperate need of volunteers so please come by the store and they will give you something to do!

If you are cleaning out your closets please bring it by.  Donors are the other arm of the volunteers that makes so many new things possible.

Currently funds are being used to build a mobile medical unit, so please do call, stop by, donate, and have some fun while doing good for others!
